Set Name: Warrior

Positions In Warrior:

Point Guard (1) - Top Of The 3 Point Line

Shooting Guard (2) - On The Right Wing

Small Forward (3) - On The Left Wing

Power Forward (4) - On The Left Block

Center (5) - Top Of The Key

The Main Goal In Warrior: To Get The Ball To The Top Of The Key (Where The Center Is) And Force The Defender To Choose Between The Center & The Power Forward.

Warrior

This Is Where Everyone Should Be At The Start Of Warrior.

PFs In Warrior

Power Forwards, You Will Be Moving Back & Forth From The Left & Right Block. The Goal For You Specifically Is To Make Yourself Open & Available For The Center To Pass It To You.

PGs In Warrior

Point Guards, If The Pass To The Center Is Available Immediately, Then Pass It To The Center. If It Isn’t, Swing It Back & Forth Between You, The Shooting Guard & The Small Forward.

Swinging The Ball

The Reason We Swing The Ball Back & Forth Is To Shift The Defense, & Create A Passing Window To Get The Ball To The Center.

SGs & SFs In Warrior

For My Shooting Guards & Small Forwards: If You Have The Ball & See An Open Pass To The Center, Then Pass It To The Center. Otherwise, Continue To Swing The Ball Back & Forth.

Shoot If Your Open In Warrior

Point Guards, Shooting Guards & Small Forwards: If You Have The Ball And You Have Enough Room To Shoot It, Then Shoot It. Otherwise, Continue To Swing The Ball Back & Forth.

The Main Goal In Warrior

Ultimately, We Want To Get The Ball To The Center At The Top Of The Key!

Cs In Warrior

Once The Center Has The Ball, If The Defender Gives You Space, Shoot It.

Read The Defender

However, If The Defender Steps Up, Then Bounce Pass It To The Power Forward On The Block.

Read The Defender (Continued)

Once The Power Forward Recieves That Pass, Make The Layup.
