This Is Where Everyone Will Be In Diamond. Everyone Will Be Playing Man To Man Defense Except The Center. The Center Will Be Playing In A Zone That Consist Of The Top Of The 3, The Free Throw Line, And The Paint. It Makes A “Diamond” Shape.
Center Pressures Top Of The 3
if The Ball Is At The Top Of The 3, Then The Center Will Press
Right Wing
If You Man Has The Ball, You Immediately Pressure Them Until The Pass It, Or Throw It Away. For My Center Specifically, If The Ball Is Passed To The Right Wing, Then Shade To The Right Elbow To Discourage A Drive (Still Be Mindful Of Who Your Guard Aa Well).
Right Corner
If The Ball Is Passed To The Right Corner, Then The PF Needs To Immediately Pressure The Ball Handler, While The PG Shades The Right Mid-Post To Discourage A Drive To The Rim.
Top Of The 3
If The Ball Is Passed To The Top Of The 3, Then The Center Needs To Immediately Pressure The Ball Handler, While Both The SG & PG Shade The Left & Right Mid Post To Discourage A Drive.
Left Wing
If The Ball Is Passed To The Left Wing, Then The SG Will Pressure The Ball Handler While The Center Will Shade To The LEFT Elbow To Discourage A Drive.
Left Corner
If The Ball Is Passed To The Left Corner, Then The SF Needs To Immediately Pressure The Ball Handler, While The SG Shades The Right Mid-Post To Discourage A Drive To The Rim.
Phase 8
Now If Someone Drives From The Right Wing, The PG & PF Must Collapse On The Drive Itself, While The Center Drops Down To The Paint.
Phase 9
If Someone Drives From The Left Wing, The SG & SF Must Collapse On The Drive Itself, While The Center Drops Down To The Paint.
Phase 10
If The Player In The Left Corner Drives, Then The SF & SG Must Collapse On The Drive.
Phase 11
If The Player In The Right Corner Drives, Then The PG & PF Must Collapse On The Drive.
