Closing out under control, guarding the drive and finishing the possession with a box out.
Setup: Two lines in the half court, one under the basket with the balls and one on the wing.
The player under the basket passes to the wing and closes out. The wing drives middle and shoots, the defender contests and boxes out. The defender then joins the wing line and the shooter joins the line under the basket.
Coaching points:
- Close out under control with a high hand
- Stay in front of the drive
- Find the shooter and box out after every shot
