Rigorer AR 2 Review
Pros:
Upgraded cushioning
Tacky outsole on clean courts
Cons:
Dust pickup
Lower material quality
Performance of the Rigorer AR 2:
Austin Reaves' second signature shoe, the Rigorer AR 2, takes a step in the right direction.
The traction is grippy and performs well, especially on clean courts. The outsole does pick up dust, so make sure to wipe it.
Rigorer improved the cushioning significantly. The Supercritical ETPU feels responsive, bouncy, and comfortable.
The materials are the one downside. The performance is not affected, but the quality isn't the best. The upper feels light and breathable.
Support and lockdown are also a highlight. The performance is solid, and the containment keeps your feet secure throughout all movements.
The Rigorer AR 2 feels like a well-rounded guard shoe. The upgraded cushioning is lightweight and provides excellent comfort.
