Nike G.T. Cut Cross Review
Pros:
Tactile-feeling traction performance
Lightweight
Cons:
Subdued cushioning setup
Upper materials retain heat easily
Performance of the Nike G.T. Cut Cross:
The Nike GT Cut Cross is the latest entry in Nike's GT Cut shoe lineup.
Nike uses the same traction pattern found on the GT Cut Academy. It feels tactile, and the performance is fantastic.
The cushioning is less bouncy, but the forefoot Zoom unit is comfortable. The setup isn't as plush as others in the lineup.
Reviewers had no issues with the support and stability features in the shoe.
Materials are an upgrade in terms of comfort. However, the upgraded comfort comes at the cost of breathability. The shoe gets hot.
The Nike GT Cut Cross is a solid performer, and the XDR rubber outsole provides fantastic traction performance.

The upper is similar to the Academy, but there are more panels. Heat gets trapped in the padding, though.

There's mild to moderate heel slippage. The outsole flange helps with stability, and so does the firmer foam cushioning.
