New Balance Hesi Low Review
Pros:
Outdoor-friendly rubber outsole
Lightweight build
Cons:
Lack of impact protection
Performance of the New Balance Hesi Low:
The Hesi Low is New Balance's latest budget model. It's the most affordable shoe in their basketball line.
The traction is nothing special but performs consistently once the rubber warms up.
There's a full-length FuelCell setup for cushioning. The shank is also decent. The setup is light and responsive. There's not much bounce or impact protection.
Support and stability are decent. Reviewers had no issues other than slight heel slippage, which using a runner's knot can fix.
The materials are of lower quality, but performance is not affected. The shoe is decently breathable.
The New Balance Hesi Low is a solid performer and a formidable option in the budget market. The traction is consistent, and the lightweight construction is comfortable.

The grip is not elite but not bad either. It takes some rubber warming to start performing well.

The materials are somewhat cheap. The laces are too thin, but the shoe's padding is comfortable. Breathability is okay, too.
