Adidas D.O.N. Issue 5 Review
Pros:
Excellent traction
Solid support and lockdown
Cons:
Cheaper materials
Quick dust pickup
Performance of the Adidas D.O.N. Issue 5:
Donovan Mitchell's latest signature model with Adidas, the D.O.N Issue #5, only slightly moves the needle.
Reviewers agree that the traction performance is one of the better aspects, especially after an initial break-in period to warm up the rubber.
The Lightstrike cushioning is dense. The shank Adidas included keeps the shoe lively, but the setup is not plush.
The snug fit is one of the shoe's better features.
The materials feel cheap, but they do a solid job of contributing to the shoe's fit and containment.
Because of the combination of fit and materials, the support and lockdown are superb.
The Adidas D.O.N. Issue #5 makes its name on the secure fit and supportive lockdown.

The Adidas D.O.N. Issue #5 is a Jekyll and Hyde type of shoe. I felt quick and snappy but also stiff at the same time. The foam could be better.

I like the Adidas D.O.N. Issue #5 aesthetics more than the performance. The traction is excellent, but the cushioning feels B-tier.

The D.O.N 5 is a Solid perfomance.
The Traction is good but not amazing, on dust is a little inconsistent but at least is very durable.
The cushining is good and responsive, nice compression and is little bounce but is not better than previeus version.
The material, lockdown, stability anddurability is my favorite part about this shoe, is freaking amazing, even though a sythetic material i didn´t fell discomfort, what I really felt was great security and court sensitivity.

Feels really supportive but a little stiff, although more bouncy than I expected. Only real negative was the time to break in, it took me three hour+ sessions to really feel like the shoe is working well, but now I really like how it feels. If it doesn’t feel good right outside the box, give it a minute.

The traction needs a few days to break in. It performed well afterwards. Dust does affect the performance, though.
